Thanks for visiting my fancy schmancy new website. After many years of selling myself short and utterly sabotaging my creative endeavors, I have decided to finally show people what I do. As my mentor Ann Ruckert used to say, "Humbleness is next to crumbleness." It is time for me to step out into the world and stop hiding my junk. Uh, I mean...
This is about as ugly as I can be.
During the course of my "adult life" per se, I have had a bunch of false starty career shifts that have moved at times toward singing; recording music; hoping to become a rock star; wanting to be a music journalist; considering a career in recording artist management; possibly becoming a music business consultant; quitting everything to study Chinese; toying with grad school for Linguistics; learning to speak several languages to varying levels; rediscovering my love for singing while realizing that I am actually a tenor who had been masquerading as a baritone until age 46; and most recently, discovering that I should never have put aside my childhood love of drawing cartoons.
